Welcome to the North.
In times of crisis, our instinct is to serve. But we’ve reached an unprecedented moment where to remain open for our guests is to risk doing more harm than good and could potentially contribute to the very problem we’re all trying to solve. Our highest priority is the wellbeing of our staff, and all of you.
And so, effective immediately, The Bachelor Farmer, our daytime cafe, and Marvel Bar are closed until further notice in an effort to help combat the outbreak of COVID-19.
Our focus now is our team. We’ve made the decision to cover 100% of the cost of employee health insurance through May 31, and we’ll continue to look for ways to support each other.
If you have an upcoming reservation with us, we appreciate your understanding and hope you can join us when we reopen. And in the meantime, gift cards are available—they’re a great way to support any of your favorite restaurants during this incredibly challenging time.
If you’re interested in ways you can help the restaurant industry at large, visit Minnesota’s Central Kitchen, a collaboration between The Bachelor Farmer, Second Harvest, Alma Restaurant, Chowgirls, and Loaves & Fishes creating jobs for cooks preparing emergency meals for an increased number of food insecure families. If you’d like to join us in serving those who serve us during this extraordinary time, you can also visit Northern Hospitality, Askov Finlayson’s effort to support this new partnership.
We hope to be back serving you before too long. Until then, please take good care of yourselves, and each other.
